Katie and Lizzie just love to play outside.
We've turned the carport into their playarea so we get shade AND a ceiling fan!
And the whole area is covered with interlocking rubber mats for extra comfort and safety.

Camping at Westmoreland State Park
June 11-12, 2005



Lizzie loved the pools at the campground.... we all did!


The girls really enjoyed the camping trip.  They actually did better then I anticipated.
Of course they got a better night's sleep in the tent then we did!.

Below, Katie and her best buddy Grace take off ahead of us on the beach trail.   
They did better then the 4 adults in the group! Of course they got a better night's sleep in the tent then we did!.
The trail is just under half a mile down, getting a bit steep at one point.  
The final destination was Fossil Beach on the Potomac River

 On the way back up, Lizzie got tired!  
She hiked the whole way down and didn't need to be carried until the trail got steep on the way up.


What a tired little camper!

We weren't in the car but a few minutes and they both were fast asleep!
